The purpose of the role is to ensure that our products & services are delivered to the highest quality. The QA Analyst is actively involved in the software development life cycle primarily with the identification of test case scenarios, rigorous testing and ensuring that when bugs are detected they are assigned correctly & fixed.
The QA Analyst should have a strong and natural instinct for delivering the highest possible quality every project.
Testing of software produced by our development teams
Guarantee high quality, on-time and on-budget delivery of project responsibilities
Ensure highest quality of documentation for colleagues
Interpreting, analysis and understanding of specification documentation
Design, implement and execute testing scripts by converting customer’s software requirements into test plans
Preparation and execution of test plans, cases and scripts
Identification, documentation of issues and seeing them through to a resolution
Regression testing of web applications
Ensuring cross-browser user-interface testing
Accurately & efficiently report the status of issues to wider team
Skills and Qualities
Commitment & proven track record to ensure the highest quality possible is achieved every time
Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
Fantastic communication, initiative & collaboration skills
Willingness to fully engage with clients
Awareness of version control systems, JIRA, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
Awareness of Test Automation & Behat testing (or similar technologies)
